Application Integration Architect

IBS Bulgaria has immediate opportunities for an experienced, forward thinking IBM Integration Bus (aka Websphere Message Broker) Architect with a passion for growth and innovation. As an Application Integration Architect you will provide design direction to messaging bus to ensure high-quality solutions and consistent deliverables to support the Customer's architecture using web services deployed in Enterprise Service Business layer (IBM Integration Bus, MQ, API Connect and Datapower), and providing analysis and implementation support for customized systems.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Design, develop, deploy, tune, and support platform-independent message flow applications that use various messaging topologies to transport messages between service requesters and service providers, as well as enable the messages to be routed, transformed, validated, and enriched during processing.
Participates in all design sessions and provides technical leadership (including technical decisions, technology recommendations, defining standards, leading POCs, and mentoring developers).
Work with project sponsors during the project planning phase to understand the requirements in order to define an solution design that meets the business and technical needs.
Define the strategy and overall vision for solutions. Provide complete solution designs that consider cost, performance, scalability, reusability, and extensibility.
Document application requirements, technical specifications, use-cases, workflow processes.
Occasionally conduct research and Proofs of Concept on new technologies and applications.
Mentor and develop skills of other members of the team. Collaborate with other development and integration team members to ensure Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Integration technologies are properly implemented and maintained.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience in integrations with Websphere suite of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) integration middleware stack which may include - IBM Integration bus (aka Message Broker), MQ, API Connect, Datapower.
Hands on and Good understanding of IBM Integration Bus (IIB) (aka Message Broker), IBM Integration Toolkit and IBM Integration Explorer.
Expert knowledge of Java, ESQL, Message Flows, WebSphere MQ components and administration.
API or SOA background in design and development.
Experience with design and development of Web Services including REST/SOAP.
Experience with standard data formats and protocols: HTML, XML, XML related technologies including but not limited to XSLT and XML Parsers, REST and JSON.
XPATH, XML data formats, structures, and schemas.
Experience with relational database such as DB2 or Oracle.
You have to be familiar with financial companies, and understand the criticality and constrains of such IT environments.
You need to have had an education (to degree level) in IT related field.
